Work Day
Hey again everybody. Thank you to everyone for their help and support over the past couple months as we have been throwing ourselves into this project. We have come along way and it looks like we should be able to open soon. We have installed all the seats, are moving into the final stages of renovating the bathrooms and finishing the floors and we just bought the new projector and will be installing sound and lights asap but we need you help one more time. This Saturday, May 1st, we will be doing one more work day from 9am till we are too tired to continue. Lunch will be supplied as will good conversation and company as we make the push to get everything ready to go in the next few weeks. We would love to see everybody there. Thank you again guys for all your support.

Water, Water everywhere
Since we took control of the Art House there have been three things that gave us some pretty big ulcers. First was heat, which we got running in the past week. Second was water, which we got today after the pipes took 4 days to unfreeze after the heat got turned on. And finally money, as the laundry list of things to get installed in the renovation grows longer, so does the bill. But we are determined to make sure that the LAC is done right and that it creates the perfect atmosphere to support art and nurture discussion and gives everyone a pretty rad place to hang out.

Happy St. Patty's Day!
Hey everybody,
The renovation of the theatre is in full swing and we have found some interesting stuff including having been told by several people that it started out as a dairy bar/ diner and may have had cattle in the back of the building. It also had a gun shop and an adult entertainment store in the back...Then it was converted into the Redwood, the Reeltime, and the Logan Art Cinenma (Weststates).
We have found everything from the old movie chairs, Water skiis, bags of pinecones, and lots of wood paneling. It has been like discovering the past...
